Our Old Ladies...

See  the Jacknic Girls who started it all!
Gerda

UKC GRCH, UAG1, UWP MI'S FOREIGN EXCHANGE AT JKN C.G.C.

What a superstar! Gerda produced seven UKC champions, including two of our #1 Top Ten winners, therapy dogs, agility dogs, and some of the most amazing companions. Gerda was the first parti standard to earn a weight pull title and was on the Top Ten list for two years in a row and she is fully health-tested. Gerda is a large silver beige weighing about 60 pounds. She is now retired from breeding and showing.

Sugar

SUGAR BEAR OF THE POCONOS

Beautiful "Sugar" is our diamond in the rough. We purchased Sugar when she was two years old to add her pedigree to our breeding program and she has proved to be a great addition. She is the dam to "Billy," our first homebred AKC champion, "Pepper" and Jaggar. We didn't think it was fair to ask Sugar to be a show dog since she wasn't raised to show, but her children and grandchildren have made up for that. She is fully health-tested and has passed on her "excellent" hips and loving attitude to her puppies. Sugar is now retired from breeding and lives with her family in Chicago.

Judy

UGCH Jacknic's Lil Bit of Rita

Judy, or as we called her, "Judy Bootie", was bred here at Jacknic. This beauty flew through her UKC championship and then kept flying, finishing her Grand Championship at just nine months of age; she also finished third in UKC Top Ten for 2010. She is the dam of our Kiss and Louise. Judy is fully health-tested and is retired from breeding and showing. She now lives in Northern Michigan with Adolph and her poodle brother "Dr. Schbalding".
